It’s funny how money change a situation but that’s not the case for Ms. Hill. She won her very first Grammy Award with her group The Fugees for Best Rap Album, The Score. When the group broke up in 1998, she released her biggest debut album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, in which she became the female rapper to take home five Grammy Awards that night and won in a category that is usually won by a pop artist for Best New Artist. She made have had some troubles along the way but she’s back and better than ever.
