The sing-songy vibe Ty Dolla $ign adds to DJ Mustard‘s “Paranoid” instrumental doesn’t really appear to be an effective template for the menacing manner in which Nicki’s been approaching her instrumentals lately, but she’s till Nicki Minaj. For most of her career, nothing’s done the trick like a good half-singing/half-rapping ballad (see: “Your Love”, “Save Me”, “Right Through Me”). Chances are, it’ll come out just as dope as the last time she hopped on a DJ Mustard beat.
