5. Hilter’s presence at the Berlin Games
The 1936 Olympics in Berlin was historic due to one person: Adolf Hilter. Though Berlin was already picked before his Nazi regime was in full effect, Hitler’s ignorance shined brightly when he intentionally neglected to acknowledge Jesse Owens for his overall victories during the games. Ironically, Owens was seen as a hero to the city of Berlin after he claimed four Gold medals
