This is the very first hip hop movie that went mainstream as it tells the story about Def Jam Records. Blair Underwood played Russell Simmons and his love interest was singer Shelia E. The movie had so many rappers like a young LL Cool J, The Fat Boys, Kurtis Blow, and Run DMC. This movie totally dominated the 80’s as it go down in history as one of the greatest movies of all time. Blair and Sheila was a cute couple in the movie.
