Rhymefest teamed up with Kanye West to create DONDA’s House and Rhymefest runs the program ‘Got Bars,’ under DONDA’s House. The program is for young artists between the ages of 15-24, wanting to expand their skills as an artist. The program features a creative writing class, a performance class and a health and wellness class. The program is surrounded around assisting those that get accepted to learn how to express their thoughts on paper, creatively, how to perform and overall take care of themselves. The program is an outlet for the youth and it helps keep many off the streets and out of the way of violence.

The ‘Got Bars’ program is now accepting applications until February 28th and it is definitely worth applying for it!  You can apply here. This is the second year the program is running and we are very confident that it will be as successful as it was last year. On top of that, DONDA’s House is running an Open Mic event on March 8th in Chicago for talent to display their lyrical skills.
