Breezy’s gearing up for his release
In addition to last year’s singles, “Fine China”, “Don’t Think They Know”, & “Love More”, Chris Brown has kept the buzz for his upcoming, oft-delayed X album alive with the Lil’ Wayne & French Montana-assisted “Loyal”–for which a video has already been shot–and now, a new collaboration with Rick Ross that’s expected to be on the troubled singer’s upcoming album.
Earlier this week, news broke that despite strong indications of progress, Chris Brown was ordered to complete another 90 days of rehab, just adding to a long line of personal and professional setbacks Brown has already experienced in 2014–he took to Twitter last month to have a public dispute with his former manager, whom he accused of leaking music from his new album.
Still, Brown hasn’t misfired (necessarily) with the steady stream of singles he’s put out, and “New Flame”, the latest single from Brown, laced with heavy hip-hop production and an easy-on-the-ears verse from Rick Ross, will hopefully help CB coast into his May 5th release date, a date we’re all hoping sticks.
