NBA Playoffs Predictions – Who Will Be The Last Team Standing In June?

Eastern Conference Semi Finals

#1 Indiana Pacers defeat #4 Chicago Bulls 4-3

This might not be the most entertaining series of the NBA Playoffs, but you will see some of the best basketball played in this one. Two defensive minded coaches and teams will square off and the Pacers will come out on top. Roy Hibbert and Joakim Noah will have a battle for the ages, but Paul George will take over in Game 7 and prove to everyone that he wants another shot at the Heat in an Eastern Conference Finals rematch. Lance Stephenson will have another great series for the Pacers as well.

#2 Miami Heat defeat #6 Brooklyn Nets 4-2

The Brooklyn Nets swept the Miami Heat 4-0 in the regular season. That will come to an end as the Heat will pick up a statement victory in Game 1 against the veteran Nets squad. This series will be a flat out brawl but James will rise to the occasion and put the team on his back in a legendary performance in Game 6 to seal the deal and lead his team to the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. Once again, the entire Miami Heat postseason rests on Wade’s knees so this is being based on whether Wade will be at full strength throughout the playoffs. We have a feeling he will be.

Western Conference Semi-Finals

#1 San Antonio Spurs defeat #4 Houston Rockets 4-2

The Rockets simply don’t have what it takes to make it out of the gauntlet this postseason. Tony Parker will have a field day in this series and will be too much for Harden and the Rockets to handle. Spurs coach Greg Popavich will have his guys locked in and ready to go against this tough Rockets squad. Look for Danny Green to light up the Rockets in this series as more than likely Harden will have to guard him.

Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, NBA Playoffs, Western Conference, Los Angeles

#2 Oklahoma City Thunder defeat #3 Los Angeles Clippers 4-3

Yup. This one is going to seven games. Westbrook and Paul will go through an absolute war against each other at the point guard position. There is no one on the Clippers roster except Matt Barnes that can truly guard Durant, and it will be a bit easier for him to score this series without two guys after him as tenacious as Prince and Allen in the previous round against Memphis.

This series will come down to the role players as Serge Ibaka, Caron Butler and Reggie Jackson will step up big time for the Thunder. Blake Griffin will have a monster series for the Clippers but it won’t be enough for them to take down the red hot Thunder.
