Silver lining.
Just a couple hours ago, Adam Silver–who is so new at his job he probably still has unpacked boxes in his office–the new commissioner of the NBA, banned Donald Sterling from the NBA for life, due to his racist comments which were captured by a vindictive associate of his, and obtained by TMZ.

The announcement was made at a packed press conference, but the NBA just released the official letter Silver wrote to make his decision, and you can view it here.
