‘Kast back?! Almost.
Big Boi performed at The Manhattan Cocktail Classic at the New York Public Library in Bryant Park last night, and after performing an entertaining 45-minute set, the ATLien spoke to Paul Cantor for Huffington Post, and revealed some pretty dope news, certainly if you’re a fan of the rapper/actor.
I just signed a deal with Epic Records. So I’m back with L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone. Got a brand new situation. I signed the deal the day after the first Coachella date, that Saturday.
Wonderful news. Despite being ridiculously busy with a 40+ festival date performance schedule–in case you haven’t heard, Outkast is more than likely coming to an overcrowded music festival near you between now and October–Big Boi has found time to hit the studio, and promises that if his album isn’t out by the end of the year we’ll certainly be getting at least two or three singles.
Can’t. Wait.
