The Daily News reports that Designer Rachel Roy was getting a little “too close” to Jay Z and that led to the infamous elevator fight between Solange and Jay Z. Solange noticed Rachel Roy flirting with Mr. Carter and told the designer that “anyone who gets close to Jay has to be warned”. Roy didn’t back down when Solange told her she was “too close” to Jay Z and eventually Beyoncé and Jay Z had to jump in the middle as angry words were exchanged. At some point, with Solange separated from Roy, Jay Z told his sister-in-law that she was “out of line”. As the trio left the Boom Boom Room, Solange found out that Jay Z had no intention of calling it a night. She became enraged that he had plans to attend Rihanna’s after-party especially since Beyoncé was heading home to the couple’s little baby girl, Blue Ivy. Solange thought Roy was going to the after party as well and that make her flip out. After three minutes of punches and kicks with Beyoncé just watching, the Knowles-Carter family has yet to respond to the embarrassing footage.
