For the second straight year, OKC is down a star(ter).

The Oklahoma City Thunder seemed to find their groove in the second half of Game 6 of their series with the Los Angeles Clippers–especially Kevin Durant–and it led to the Thunder eliminating The Clippers from the playoffs last night. Durant finished the game with 39 points and Russell Westbrook hit his groove late in the game, and critics and fans alike were feeling strong about a hungry Oklahoma City Thunder team heading into the Western Conference Finals to face the Spurs.

They may be feeling a little worse after this news.

Serge Ibaka, who left the game after being involved in a funky loose-ball play with the Clippers’ Chris Paul, will be out for the rest of the postseason. Here’s a statement from the Thunder’s general manager, Sam Presti.
