The Fugees- Killing Me Softly
This rap group dominated the 90’s as they remade Roberta Flack‘s hit single “Killin Me Softly” and put their hip hop flavor which earned them their first Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album for their hit second album, The Score and Best R&B Vocal Performance By A Duo Or Group. Who could forget the video as it was on rotation on both BET and MTV. This is the one song that you know the lyrics so well that you can’t get it out of your head. This song still remains to be a favorite at clubs and on the radio. Since releasing The Score, the group disbanded but reunited in the 2000’s but officially calling it quits for good. We just hope that they would get back together.
