He’s not only just good at scoring goals.
US captain, Clint Dempsey whose currently known for his strike only 32 seconds into the World Cup opener against Ghana is going to release a 13-track album called ‘The Redux’. Dempsey recorded these 13 tracks with rapper XO before he made his journey to Brazil.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the athlete spent two weeks in LA during off-season working on this album which includes him rapping about ‘banging Gs’ (scoring goals) and being Captain America. This isn’t Clint’s first track released, back in 2006, Clint came out with a single called “Don’t Tread” which he also collaborated with XO on.
The 31-year old American Striker told Wall Street Journal “We just were having fun with it and it ended up being an album.” Hopefully this album thats being released in a few months ahead, is just as good as Dempsey’s soccer skills. Till the album drops check out a video he did for Nike in 2007
