Jay Z ‘Made in America’ Documentary Will Appear On The Big Screen

 “Made in America” documentary will hit theaters July 22.

 

Jay Z “Made in America” documentary touches base on a weekend festival that took place in 2012 at the Philadelphia Budweiser music celebration.

It will be directed and produced by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.

“After great tragedy, creativity is born,” the Brooklyn native said in a scene where he revisits his old apartment at Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects.

Throughout the documentary, performers provide interviews about their work as well as their passion for music.

Artists that are featured in the documentary include Run DMC, Rita Ora and Janelle Monae.

Jay Z whose real name is Shawn Carter, founded Budweiser Made in America Festival in 2012 as a way to tie music with the American dream.
