I think I have a responsibility to educate and open doors for more people like myself so it’s easier for us to take advantage of what the art world has to offer us.
People have a hard time understanding one’s intention and that’s a struggle; trying to relate your intention into a language that everyone understands.
Sometimes it may seem intimidating but one of my main approaches to everything I do is, the first person who did this had no references period. So if that person that first person could start a movement with no references and you have references, don’t really care about what anyone else has to say, just put yourself out there and figure it out.
