Who says giants weren’t made to fall? You can remind coach Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs this as they were defeated by Alba Berlin of Germany 94-93, courtesy of a buzzer beater by Jamel McLean. A quick miscue lead to a Spurs turnover which caused them the game and signs of early vulnerability as teams are prepping up for the upcoming season. Even though this was a preseason NBA game, let’s just say that this unexpected moment will forever live in the lives of each player who suited up for Alba Berlin last night. Is there early trouble for the NBA champs down at the Lone Star state? Only time will tell but they do need it to get it together before they start their title reign against in state rival, Dallas Mavericks on October 28.
Omari feels like Gregg Pop has everything under control and that everyone should take a page out of the Aaron Rodgers playbook and people should R-E-L-A-X. RELAXXXX, its only the preseason.
