You may not know Goldie Jone$ by name but you probably know his voice. He signed a writing deal with Dot Da Genius’ HeadBanga Muzik and provided some vocal support on Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘n’ Nite.” After lending his pen to some tracks on Cudi’s Man On The Moon, Jone$ is back to put out some new music of his own. The Brooklyn artist sheds any preconceptions you might have based on his work with Kid Cudi with seven tracks of unapologetic rhymes over catchy beats. Girls, if you like the bossy type, you might want to download this one. Everyone else, you can’t deny the confidence on the mic.
Bryan Hahn stays in the Gold Room. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
