What does it mean to be a part of the Lurk life? You might want to ask the Lurk Godfather, Lurkavelli. The NYC emcee is preparing to release his next project, LAST CALL: A Lower East Side Story. But before he does so, he premieres his new single, “The Dough,” with us. The creepy production from Buddha Gold aka Young Bodybag sounds like Buddha found an unfinished transcript in the Phantom of the Opera’s lair and completed it himself with a steel drum and hi hats. Add Lurkavelli’s rhymes about how money constantly changes hands and rules the streets while he flows over the beat, and you have a good reason to look forward to his next project.
