Marshawn Lynch FINALLY Gives “The Media” Some Real Answers

Well, what wouldn’t he do for some Skittles?

The last few weeks of the regular season and the past two weeks of the postseason have been hard on Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks. After struggling to get out of the gate in September, the Seahawks had to fight off the surprisingly ferocious Arizona Cardinals for the NFC West crown, and didn’t exactly have an easy time getting rid of the pesky Carolina Panthers in the divisional round of the playoffs. Throw in a miraculous, historic, almost-didn’t-happen comeback victory in the NFC Championship game at home against the Green Bay Packers, and one thing is clear. There probably hasn’t been a Superbowl team in the last decade that’s earned it quite like the 2014-2015 Seattle Seahawks.

The only people that may have had a tougher time in these cold months are the reporters trying to interview the Seahawks star running back. He’s spent entire media sessions answering questions with “yeah,” “nope,” reminding people that he’s going to continue answering with “yeah” and “nope,” and on NFL Media Day, the most high profile interview spot all year, Lynch admitted to every inquiring reporter that he was only present to avoid a half-a-million dollar fine from the league.

Well, someone finally got Marshawn Lynch to talk, and believe it or not, it was a reporter–sort of. Lynch’s obsession with Skittles has been well-documented and the above video clip may be the only place you’ll see Lynch open up to the media. He covered several pressing issues, like the planet he’d like to end up on when he retires, and cat videos. Questions that absolutely needed to be answered.
