Your favorite analyst’s favorite analyst is back from an 11 month halt…
NBA fans worldwide, you have another reason to smile very hard. Tonight is the night legendary TNT NBA reporter Craig Sager makes his return to the game he loves. The 63 year old veteran was sidelined due to a 11 month battle with leukemia. Known for his witty personality and extra loud fashion statements(owner of various of colorful suits), Sager made his return to sideline reporting Thursday night during the Chicago Bulls vs. Oklahoma City Thunder match-up. When asked how he feels about his return, Sager said this:
I’m very grateful, very thankful, and I got up today and it was like the first day of school. You’re a little nervous. I’ve done it before but everything’s a little different. It’s a long 11 months, believe me. But I was very fortunate I had some doctors I believed in, had some good care. I’m back. A little bit lighter, I don’t know if you can see it on TV but I lost close to 50 pounds, got some of it back, but I had to get some new clothes because all those great things I had before don’t fit anymore
