Stoners will have another activity on their 4/20 agendas
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Ice Cube’s Friday is returning to theaters on April 20. It’s happening through Fathom Events, and Fathom is showing the director’s cut, which has never been seen before in theaters. They will also show a feature filled with interviews and stories from the cast.
Ice Cube sounded pretty excited about the film’s return in an interview with BuzzFeed News. He said
“For the theaters, for New Line [Cinema], for the fans to want to pay homage to the movie in this way is cool,” he said. “It lets you know how much people appreciate it and how much fun it is … and it lets you know that Friday is now a part of the American fabric.”
