Jay-Z Removes ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Album From Spotify

The Hip Hop mogul and Tidal co-owner pulls his debut album from the top free music streaming site

Jigga did not lose any time promoting his Tidal site as the new music streaming site, churning out premieres from Mrs. Carter’s “Die With You” and Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” exclusively on Tidal, Hov still has another trick up his sleeve.

Jay-Z decided to pull his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, from the music streaming favorite Spotify. The 1996 classic that solidified the current king of Hip Hop is now available only on Tidal.

Jay followed in the footsteps of another co-owner of Tidal, Taylor Swift, in removing her music from Spotify and having it only on Tidal.

The new site, which was bought for a reported $56 million, is now worth $250 million with only 100K subscribers.

If this trend continues, Spotify my be forced to switch their game up.
