Ty’s heating up at the perfect time
Earlier this year, Ty Dolla $ign released his new single, the pop-oriented collaboration with go-to hook maestro Charli XCX and nostalgic R&B talent Tinashe, “Drop That Kitty,” for which we finally have a music video.
Dolla $ign teased the video over the weekend with exclusive clips of he and XCX walking and riding shotgun respectively, and the full clip is available above for your viewing pleasure. Tinashe joins the dynamic duo with her own set of background dancers kittys, who do just as the song title says when she storms onto the bridge of the Cashmere Cat-produced banger.
In addition to the new clip, Ty also announced the release date for his long-awaited debut album, Free TC, which will finally impact on June 2. The album’s title is inspired by Dolla $ign’s incarcerated brother, who is currently serving time in prison for a crime $ign is adamant he didn’t commit.
Free TC is expected to feature R. Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, and more.
