Only two of them have been granted bail
The Migos—Quavo, Offset and Takeoff–were arrested following a performance at Georgia Southern University on Friday after cops claimed they detected a “very potent smell” of marijuana coming from their vehicles. A subsequent investigation, conducted while the three rappers were performing at the school, produced drugs and firearms, leading to their arrests.
“These discoveries were intensely concerning as the drugs and firearms had been brought to a university sponsored event where over a thousand students were congregated.” Other, yet to be disclosed drugs were also found after a search by authorities.
On Saturday, news broke that the three Migos members would be charged with drug possession; possession of firearms in a school safety zone; and possession of firearms during the commission of a crime, all very serious charges. Since then, two of the rappers–Quavo and Takeoff–have been granted a $10,000 bail, but Offset has been denied the opportunity to post bail. He is a convicted felon, and the judge has denied his release.
