What are the holidays without Christmas movies..
Universal Pictures snagged Charles Dickens’ classic story A Christmas Carol and made Ice Cube the star, Scrooge.
Scrooge is a grumpy man who is humbled when he receives visitation from the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future. Cube’s mean mug alone makes him the perfect fit for this classic.

The film will be produced by Cube himself and directed by Tim Story, who also collaborated with Cube in Barbershop and both Ride Along 1 and 2.
The Christmas movie is set to release sometime in 2017.
