In April, it was announced that Spike Lee had teamed with Amazon for a film titled Chi-raq that would involve Kanye West, Common and more. Later on in the year, Dave Chappelle was announced as an addition to a cast that had expanded to include Samuel L. Jackson, Nick Cannon and more.
Finally, we have the first official trailer for the film, which will be released in a limited capacity in theaters on December 4, and to Amazon Instant Video. The trailer features Samuel L., Cannon, Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett and more, and gives you a pretty clear idea of the narrative, which is a very interesting one.
