Falling from grace at an unprecedented pace, The Weeknd and Future break every rule in the book while stooping to a new level on the reprehensible “Low Life,” one of two stocking stuffers from Abel along with a remix to Jeremih‘s Late Nights single “Pass Dat.” With a total lack of respect and disregard for authority, the self-proclaimed sleezes remain fixed in their ways, and refuse to offer even any sort of excuse, much less apology for their despicable actions.
“If she catch me cheating I won’t ever tell her sorry,” insists a selfish and stubbornly-immoral Future, while his Canadian counterpart has the nerve to turn The Ritz into a poolhouse with no remorse whatsoever, expecting nothing more than a slap on the wrist in terms of potential consequences. You can badger them about minding their Ps and Qs and forewarn that they’re burning their bridges, but it only adds fuel to the fire, as you’ll be told to eat dirt while they bury their heads in the sand and quickly pretend everything is quite peachy. Even if they eventually decide to face the music and answer for their actions however, some bells simply cannot be unrung.
