America’s Most Wealthy Are Also Purchasing Tickets For $1.5B Powerball Jackpot, “I could buy a new airplane”

The Powerball jackpot reaching a record $1.35Billion has been one of the most talked about topics in the U.S. within the past couple of days and as the big drawing is slated to be revealed Wednesday night (January 13), it looks like more than just the common folk are trying their luck. According to the New York Daily News, many of the countries wealthy are looking to add more to their fortune.

Bradford Pine, a Long Island based wealth advisor and president of Bradford Pine Wealth Group wants to join in the action.

Everybody’s buying tickets. As crazy as it might seem, it’s the worst investment I’ll ever make, but even I’m buying tickets.

Pine also said that the Powerball jackpot has been one of the main topics of discussion between him and his multi-millionaire clients.

Well-to-do plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Fiorello purchased 10 tickets purely for entertainment purposes.
