A$AP Rocky Addresses Travi$ Scott, Yams Day on Hot 97

Monday, January 18 marks the 1-year anniversary of A$AP Mob founder and world renowned visionary A$AP Yams, and to celebrate, A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob will be performing at Terminal 5 in New York City, along with several other acts, like Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, Aston Matthews and more.

To help promote Monday’s show, Rocky sat down with the Ebro In The Morning crew to discuss how he and the Mob keep Yams’ legacy alive, and the current state of things, including his apparent temporary relocation to London, which is where Rocky spent the majority of his time as he crafted his last album, A.L.L.A. Ebro also touched on the topic of Travi$ Scott, who has been compared to Rocky in recent months, and was somewhat dissed by a member of the A$AP Mob, A$AP Nast, who acknowledged the quality of Scott’s music but ultimately accused the Houston rapper of ripping his style.

Then of course, there was that awkward incident in New York City when a bystander called out to Travi$, referring to him as Rocky, to which Scott emphatically denounced, “I’m not f*cking A$AP!” Rocky amicably shut down any possibility of there being a beef between him and Travi$, and claimed “the people” should decide whether or not Scott is a “biter,” after reminding everyone that seeing someone be influenced by your style is a compliment.
