It’s that time of the year once again. Last March, OVO rapper and Atlanta native ILoveMakonnen released Drink More Water 5, featuring popular cuts like “Whip It” and “No Ma’am,” which kicked off a busy year that included touring and the release of the ILoveMakonnen 2 EP, which dropped this past November.
This March has brought us yet another Drink More Water project, DMW6, on the heels of a few popular singles, like “Big Gucci,” and “Live For Real,” and the feeling that Makonnen is inching closer and closer to the ramp-up for his proper debut album, which could be out as soon as this year. In addition to his debut, there’s also that OVO group album he teased during an interview with HuffPo Live, meaning 2016 could be even busier than 2015 for the “Solo” rapper, and Drink More Water 6 will likely be just the launching pad he needs.
