Lionel Messi is the best soccer player in the world to some, Cristiano Ronaldo is to others. Either way, the debate comes down to those two, but a bystander at a match this weekend felt the full force of Messi’s greatness quite literally.
Messi, who is the reigning and 4-time Ballon d’Or (FIFA World Player of the Year) winner, let loose with a forceful strike during the first half of a match with Villareal this weekend, and though he missed his mark, he connected quite accurately with a woman’s arm in the crowd.

As you can see in the above video clip, shortly after the ball connects with the woman’s arm, she begins writhing in pain, and can barely sit up straight as someone holds her broken arm up. Finally, when stadium workers come to assist her, she full on passes out as they try to escort her to a place where she can be properly treated.
