Big Sean and Jhene Aiko announced a joint LP last night, Twenty88, which will be released this Friday, April 1. Aiko has made several appearances on Big Sean releases, including the chorus of his 2013 single “Beware,” and their Dark Sky Paradise duet, “I Know,” and that pre-existing chemistry is pushing anticipation for Twenty88 sky high.

This morning in a press release, Def Jam announced that Twenty88 will be a TIDAL exclusive for four days; neither Jhene Aiko nor Big Sean are confirmed co-owners of TIDAL, but Sean is managed by Jay Z‘s Roc Nation. The duo will also be making their “television debut” on Thursday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, just over an hour from Twenty88‘s release. Aiko and Sean previously performed a late night engagement together in 2013 on Kimmel while Sean was promoting “Beware” and his sophomore album, Hall of Fame, but they weren’t known as the Twenty88 duo then.

Production will be coming from Tommy Brown, Key Wane and Detail, and you can preview the new music right here.
