Goldberg blatantly stated she’s a fan of marijuana (as she’s done many times before) in an article with The Cannabis Magazine. In a press release she also stated, “This was all inspired by my own experience from a lifetime of difficult periods and the fact that cannabis was literally the only thing that gave me relief.”

The menstrual “survival kit” titled Whoopi & Maya has a wide range of items to soothe the senses affected most during a menstrual cycle. Equipped with cannabis infused edibles, tinctures, liquid extracts, rubs and bath soak, the kit leaves no stone unturned. The products are made to be discreet and will be sold in dispensaries. Goldberg holds the title of chairman in the company and Elisabeth is the company’s CEO. The duo have already successfully accumulated a $650,000 startup fund.

Ladies aren’t the only ones eager to get their hands on the products. Elisabeth says the company has gained interest among men as well. “That’s one of the things that’s so beautiful about cannabis,” she said. “The side effects [of the products] are desirable.”

The medical marijuana business is a multi-billion dollar industry. It was revealed $5.4 billion dollars was generated in 2015 alone. So when will one of the world’s most controversial plants be legalized in all 50 states? No word yet. However, it’s gaining the interest of creators and consumers alike.

The Whoopi & Maya products do not have an official release date as of yet. Those interested in buying must reside in the District of Columbia or the other 23 legalized states.
