James Harden Responds to NBA Ruling of an Offensive Foul on Game-Winner vs. Warriors

James Harden scored the game-winning basket to give the Houston Rockets a 1-2 series victory over the Golden State Warriors in Thursday’s [April 21] Game 3.

Following the game, NBA Officiating Last Two Minute Report deemed Harden committed an offensive foul by pushing off on Andre Iguodala to give himself room to drain the final basket.

“Harden (Houston) initiates the contact with Iguodala (Golden State) to create space and dislodges him from his legal guarding position.”

However, in a conversation with The Vertical’s Michael Lee, according to the Bleacher Report, seemingly not bothered by the accusations Harden stated, “Game is over, right? I don’t think I pushed off. I’m worried about Game 4.”

The ruling doesn’t affect the result of the game, as the Rockets look to tie the series in Sunday’s Game 4.
