Lil Wayne has had his fair share of troubles over the past year. Whether it is his public (and still on-going) lawsuit with Cash Money Records, suffering multiple seizures while flying on a plane or having has personal belongs auctioned off to satisfy an outstanding debt, Weezy has definitely seen brighter days. It looks like today he might have gotten into a bit more hot water as a bouncer at Los Angeles’ Hyde nightclub on Sunset Blvd has accused him of assault.

The incident allegedly occurred at a BET Awards after party at said venue where Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz were hosting. The bouncer alleges that the rapper punched him in the face when he turned away members of Wayne’s entourage at the door, leading him to file a battery report.

Members of Lil Wayne’s camp have staunchly denied the claims, stating that the accuser worked the crew’s VIP area the entire night with only one minor incident occurring where he grabbed Wayne’s arm, later apologizing. As a result of the bouncer’s claim, Lil Wayne might be facing a misdemeanor battery charge.
