You know her from having one of the best Beyoncé covers out there, and her allegiance to making sweet, honest, enjoyable music. Now, Kyla Imani is ready to unleash her long-awaited new EP, Sweet Tea, tomorrow, July 18.
Imani rose to popularity towards the end of 2014, when, after being inspired by Beyoncé’s jubilant and viral “7/11” video, she chose to create her own version, which has since racked up over 1 million views on YouTube, and been heralded by Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post and more. Imani’s original music is just as much of a draw, and she’s ready to prove that this week with the release of Sweet Tea.
