Tory Lanez Announces ‘I Told You’ Album Release Date & Tour

Tory Lanez‘ career has been set ablaze with numerous mixtapes, tracks, and singles. It is now time for the Toronto native to give us his debut album and tour to support his body of work.

76 shows will take Lanez all throughout the U.S. this summer through winter. His debut album I Told You will be available on August 19th. He recently released the Jahlil Beats-produced track “August 19,” hinting at the date for release.

In an interview with Hot 97, Lanez spoke on his album I Told You with confidence and assuring it will be one of the hottest album’s of the year. “There’s a good balance [on this album],” Lanez said. “This is gonna be the greatest album of this year. I wanna say this album will be the greatest album of this time, but I don’t want to be full of myself.” Saying such has us on the lookout for hits. He also mentioned that there is no beef between himself and Drake, but he isn’t in the music industry to be number two, he’s coming form Drake’s spot.

After touring with A$AP Ferg this past spring, Lanez wastes no time to jump back on the tour bus for performances. I Told You tour begins on Friday, July 22 and will end on December 7.

“I told you is so much deeper,” Lanez says on the album title. There were times when he asks favors from people around him but they didn’t understand the plan he had.
