Following her breakup with Nick Young, Iggy Azalea has soared to new heights. Yesterday [July 19] Azalea took to Instagram to announce that her production company has landed her a spot as an executive producer for UniversalNBC.
Azalea St. Productions is now gearing up to create original scripted content for UniversalNBC. Iggy Azalea’s real name is Amethyst Kelly. Both her stage name and the name of her production firm stems from Azalea Street, where she grew up in Australia. The Australian rapper took to Instagram to post a picture of her company’s logo that looks like a two way street sign alongside the signatures of a contract signed by Azalea and Demondre Edwards, VP of Business Affairs at UniversalNBC.
The caption reads, “Also! Wanted to share with everyone that my production company “Azalea Street” has just signed on to create original content for UniversalNBC! So guys, I’m an Executive Producer for at least a few years to come! Hopefully many! Lots of scripted series in the works! Lots of interesting ideas! Iggy’s new relationship with UniversalNBC comes shortly after her breakup with basketball star Nick Young. Shortly after their breakup, it was announced that Nick Young was expecting another child from his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green. Azalea expressed her pain publicly on Instagram while making boss moves in private.
