Police violence has been a hot topic issue in America for quite some time. After the unjust killings of people of color began making mainstream news, their families and loved ones slowly started speaking out to let their stories be told on a broader scale.
Seven women who lost their children publicly within the last few years are joining forces to make sure the injustices don’t happen to anyone else’s child. “Mothers of the Movement” are the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Micheal Brown, Sandra Bland, Jordan Davis, Eric Garner, Dontré Hamilton and Hadiya Pendleton. Collectively they are officially supporting Hillary Clinton while speaking out about gun violence and how it affects families.

The women not only represent for their children, they also represent other mothers who have lost sons and daughters to gun violence and police brutality for decades.
