Nike is paying tribute to the men and women U.S.A. Basketball teams with a new short film and song penned by Chance The Rapper titled “We the People.”
The video is part of Nike’s ‘Unlimited Together’ campaign, designed to highlight the professionals and regular people who “push their limits daily-and who are poised to prove their unlimited potential this summer on the world’s largest stages.”
In the clip, Chance The Rapper performs the short, piano-led ballad that helps to celebrate the strength og athletes representing the U.S. in Rio.
“We want some heroes in our story, We need highlights for a night like, We need glory for a while,We want results, we want results,” rhymes Chance. As the song plays, images of the athletes including DeMarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Elena Delle Donne, Maya Moore, Tamika Catchings and more are projected against a building.
