We are a little over nine-months removed from the release of Joey Bada$$’ debut B4.DA.$$. If you’ve ever noticed, Joey is constantly trying to find a new way to convey his thoughts within the music. There are often times when his fanbase won’t agree with his musical style. When he collaborated with Metro Boomin and G Herbo, it was completely left field, as most felt that Joey would forever remain in that boom-bap rap era state of a mind. But Pro Era—continues to push pass their own high limits. With a new album coming up on the horizon, Joey continues to challenge himself.
Joey’s album is 90% complete and he’s released one track thus far–that will not end up on his ABBA album. “Front & Center” is produced by Cookin’ Soul and samples the Narcos theme song, the popular show on Netflix. Released on Oct. 20, Joeys’ fans expressed their likes and dislikes of the song.

Joey is always in the studio, creating new music to see what works best. There’s no telling what his new album will have, but “Devastated” was on hell-of-a start.
