Drake Gives Away $1M In His New “God’s Plan” Video

Now, this is an original idea for a video.

Drake decided to play an angel in his new video, rolling up on unsuspecting Floridians who all were recipients of the Canadian rap stars cash giveaway.

The rapper shared the music video for his chart-topping single “God’s Plan” on Friday.

“The budget for this video was $996,631.90,”
text states at the beginning of the video. “We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label.”

Some of his good deeds earned the press before the video’s release; Drake gave $25,000 to Miami Senior High School, and it was reported that he camped out at a local supermarket and paid for $50,000 in groceries.

Since sharing the video, Drake has taken to Instagram issuing a challenge for us all to spread the love.

“Today I am going to challenge everyone to just go out and do something for someone, anything, the smallest thing just to bring another human being some joy.”

He had called the video “the most important thing I have ever done in my career” ahead of its release.
