We’ve all been there before, you’re scrolling on Twitter and come across a seemingly funny video, an interesting article, or popular meme that you can’t quite watch or read at the moment. So you like the tweet or DM it to yourself for later, but then later never comes because you’ve forgotten all about it! Well have no fear, Twitter Bookmarks are here.

On Wednesday, February 28, Twitter launched the Bookmarks feature, which allows users to privately save tweets they plan on reading later. In addition to the new feature, the app also now lets users directly share a tweet via DM or anywhere off of the app with its new share icon conveniently placed next to the heart icon. Twitter describes how users can use Bookmarks in an official blog post.

“To bookmark a Tweet, tap the share icon under the Tweet and select, “Add Tweet to Bookmarks”. To find it later, tap “Bookmarks” from your profile icon menu. You can remove Tweets from your Bookmarks at any time. Also, only you can see what you’ve bookmarked.”

The latest feature will come in handy for many, and is Twitter’s major update since the rollout of threads and the 280 character tweet limit. Will you be putting bookmarking into use?
