YG had a run in with the law for allegedly snatching a guy’s chain off his neck and running with it.
The rapper turned himself in at a Vegas court after learning about his outstanding warrant. YG was hit with felony robbery and he was released after posting $20k bail.
TMZ reports that the incident happened in May at the Cosmopolitan at about 4 AM. After a fan asked for a picture with YG and was turned down by him and his crew, he insulted the rapper by saying he’s not a real celebrity. The “Big Bank” rapper’s retaliation was snatching the chain.
The chain reportedly fell to the ground, and YG is seen on video picking up the necklace, valued at $3,000 and $9,000 before he took off.
The victim is also suing the West Coast rapper, claiming that his crew put the paws on him before he was robbed. The guy wants at least $250k.
