According to new documents, the “Codeine Dreaming” rapper’s sentence has been reduced. Instead, he will be released in August. Catching a lucky break, he was expected to remain in jail until October. However, after being credited an additional 30 days of time served, he will have served 120 days in jail.

Therefore, the self-proclaimed Project Baby will be returning home next month. Upon examining Broward County Sheriff’s inmate records you will find that his anticipated release date is August 18, 2018. Adding to the good news, he won’t be subject to probation following his release.

Kodak was sentenced to one year in prison back in April after he pled guilty to two parole violations based on a January arrest for drugs and weapons charges. He was originally charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, theft of a firearm and child neglect after his Broward County home was raided. However, those charges would later be dropped.

Still the 21-year-old is making the best of his jail time. He has been working on a memoir. Most recently, he completed his G.E.D.

All things considered, there’s enough time left in the summer for him to come home and make his presence felt. Hopefully, we’ll be hearing new music from Kodak soon.
