Michael Rapaport questioned why no one responded to “old-ass Eminem.” Pleading with rappers he asks that they “show some pride! for the sport, for the love of Hip Hop.”

Well, Ja Rule has issued his response. Meanwhile, Machine Gun Kelly elected to pop a bottle of champagne in celebration, as “Not Alike” plays in the background. Clearly, it doesn’t seem like any of Hip Hop’s new-comers want to stand in the ring and exchange with a veteran like Eminem.

Despite this, Ja Rule has done it. Most notably his “Loose Change” diss track which was a rare body-blow to Em. Who could forget the infamous 2002 diss track where Rule said Haile’s name and Em subsequently lost it.

“Em, you claim your mother’s a crackhead and Kim is a known slut. So what’s Hailie gon’ be when she grows up”

Thankfully, Hailie grew into a young woman and has stayed on the path. Still, years later her father refuses to let the offense be taken lightly or forgotten.

On “Greatest” Em lashes out once more, “God forbid I forget, go and jump out the window, somebody better child-proof it. ‘Cause if I lose it we can rewind to some old Ja Rule shit and I can remind motherfuckers I’ll do shit.”

Although Em initially responded to Ja via “Doe Ra Me” in 2003, some anger must still remain. One fan called attention to the shots still being thrown at Rule via Twitter.

Rule then replied to the tweet saying, “Guess that Halie line must be starting to hit home…” While this isn’t the method of response classic Hip Hop fans are used to but it is a response nonetheless.
