Hip-Hop and music fans alike are still in shock over the recent passing of Mac Miller on September 7 from an apparent overdose.
Fans, family members and fellow artists have posted their salutations and tributes to the Pittsburgh emcee/producer, but now MTV is in the planning stages of its own tribute to Miller by re-airing episodes of its 2013 series Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family.
According to HHNH, the “Music Television” network plans to air the episodes within the next month as a tribute to the late 26-year-old entertainer.
Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family includes appearances by Macklemore, Schoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul in the episodes, which were recorded from 2012 through 2014. MTV also claims to be in the producing stages of pulling old footage of Mac from their archives as a way to salute the fallen rapper.
