BAPE is going nonstop with the collaborations in 2018, giving us fire drops alongside adidas, G-SHOCK, EA Sports, and even pop sensation The Weeknd this past summer. The latest is with UNDEFEATED on a reworked Timberland 6” boot, and it’s easily our favorite thus far — and no, it’s not just because our HQ is based in New York, son!
From afar, these may just look like a general pair of wheat Timbs with extra laces styled in BAPE’s signature 1ST CAMO. However, the real design is all in the details up-close, as the waterproof nubuck upper is debossed with the 1ST CAMO print as well. The stealth-like appeal really gives these a standout flair, with even a few hidden APE HEADS thrown in as well and co-branded logos on the insoles to seal the deal. The boots are finished off with branding on the tongue from all three parties involved, making for a subtle construction that gives the classic silhouette a fresh new spin without losing its appeal overall.
