Here’s An Official Look at the “CHANEL Pharrell” 2019 Collection

Starting from the first preview we got back in October, Pharrell’s highly-anticipated collaboration with CHANEL has been burning on the minds of many for a whole season now. Thankfully, we finally have a complete look at the apparel, footwear and overall inspiration behind the new campaign known simply as “CHANEL Pharrell.”

Building on the sequin patchwork and vibrant color theme that we saw with the initial hoodie, this collaborative offering reveals a range of T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, bags, headwear and a standout set of jewelry to go along with the rollout. Bathrobes are included as well, which are becoming quite the trend considering those I Love Baroque robes by Versace we recently got a look at. There’s even a footwear component as well, which unfortunately doesn’t include the colette-exclusive Pharrell x CHANEL x adidas Human Race NMD from 2017 but does offer up some white trainers with colorful accents, in addition to slides and loafers that all incorporate ‘Rell’s signature touch. As streetwear is becoming more and more in-sync with the lane of luxury fashion labels, this is a collab that’s been bound to happen for quite some time. We couldn’t think of a better person to join the CHANEL family, or one that rhymes with it so effortlessly for that matter.

The “CHANEL Pharrell” 2019 Collection initially arrives this Friday (March 29) in Seoul, followed by a global release on April 4. Peep the full Akira-inspired campaign via the behind-the-scenes video above and lookbook images below:
