Every brand has its signature hits, and many will agree that for Vans it’s definitely checkerboard print. Now, it looks like the Cali-bred lifestyle brand is going overboard with the design for the latest iterations of the Old Skool, Slip-On and Sk8-Hi.
The new “All Over Checkerboard” Pack decks out all three models in the classic pattern, with each shoe literally doused in the checkered style. The Sk8-Hi features it in various sizes, from small boxes on the laces, inner lining and toe cap to larger ones on the side panel. The Old Skool and Slip-On both follow a similar design scheme, and the optical illusion that all three options create puts a new spin on a print that’s become one of the most popular amongst Vans fans. The pack is finished off with waffle outsoles, which are switched out from its usual brown hue for a matching black. These are definitely worth copping just to turn heads and trip people out at the same time.
The Vans “All Over Checkboard” Pack is available right now at select retailers and online, with the Slip-On priced at $55 USD, the Old Skool going for $60 USD and the Sk8-Hi retailing for $65 USD.
